Community Buyout Ballot

 

Soon the residents of South Cowal will receive in the post an envelope from the Electoral Reform Service. In the envelope will be a unique ballot paper which they can use to support the community buyout of the Castle Toward Estate. Each resident, on the electoral register in South Cowal, will also get an information leaflet detailing the local community groups plans for the estate and a list of locations where they can return their ballot paper.

 

In order for the community group to proceed in its bid to purchase the estate for the community, the turnout for the community ballot must be 50% or more - so every vote really counts. Watch out for the Save Castle Toward mobile ballot box in your area of South Cowal and turn out to vote.

 

You should start to receive your ballot papers in the post from the 1st of May 2014. Your first chance to register your vote is at the Castle Toward Open Day on the 10th of May. If you do not receive a ballot paper please email us at info@savecastletoward.com letting us know your postal address and we will ask for another ballot paper to be sent out to you.

Newton Park, Innellan.   Tuesday 13th May 12-2 pm & 4-6 pm

 

Arran Park, Innellan.   Wednesday 14th May 11 am - 1 pm & 5-6 pm

 

Dalriada Grove, Innellan.   Wednesday 14th May 2-4 pm

 

Innellan Village Hall.   Friday 16th May 8 am - 9 pm
